Yue kiln began in the Eastern Han Dynasty and flourished in the Tang Dynasty, known as "the crown of all kilns", the kiln site is located in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. Yue celadon ware has a long history, and its shape is like ice and jade. Tang Dynasty poet Lu Guimeng once praised the beauty of Yue Zhou porcelain can capture "thousand peaks of green color".
 
Yue Kiln celadon is delicate, even and thin, with a lightweight body and a light blue glaze. Because the glaze layer is thin and transparent, it appears bright color, pure and elegant: its pattern is concise and vivid, and the decorative pattern mainly has plant patterns, animal patterns, geometric patterns, and so on, various forms. The Yue celadon ware decoration techniques mainly include engraving, scratching, printing, caving, draw flower, brown color and so on. Among them , engraving and scratching are the most common.
